Haesung (Lola) earned her bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology & Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she studied sexually dimorphic olfactory mechanisms and developed point-of-care diagnostic tools. She is passionate about RNA therapeutics for neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular disorders. Her work focuses on engineering targeted mRNA-loaded lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for neuronal delivery and investigating their intracellular trafficking and mechanisms of action.
